I will add five reliable automated tests for one existing Node.js API endpoint using Jest or Vitest.
This entry package covers one route and one clear behavior. The tests can cover a successful request, invalid or missing input, an authentication or authorization failure, a dependency error, and one important edge case agreed before work begins.
You receive:
• Five readable automated tests
• Sanitized fixtures and mocks
• A concise note explaining what each test proves
• The exact command needed to run the tests
• One revision within the agreed endpoint and behavior
I can work with Express, Fastify, NestJS, or a similar Node or TypeScript service that runs locally with test data.
Scope: one endpoint and five tests. Production deployment, browser testing, load testing, database migration, a full test-suite rewrite, and additional endpoints are separate.
I do not need production credentials, private keys, seed phrases, live funds, or customer data.
