We are seeking a proactive and dependable individual to take on the role of overseeing and managing the operations related to Know Your Customer (KYC) and fraud. This position is integral in ensuring compliance with both local regulations and the standards set by the company on a global scale. The ideal candidate should possess a strong command of the English language, have experience in the crypto industry, or demonstrate a keen interest in it. Furthermore, they should have the ability to work autonomously while exhibiting robust leadership skills.

Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise the day-to-day KYC operations, encompassing tasks such as identity verification, Customer Due Diligence (CDD)/Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD), and monitoring for fraudulent activities
Guarantee adherence to local regulatory mandates while also ensuring alignment with the company's worldwide policies
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and teams across the globe to institute enhancements in processes and ensure regulatory harmony
Act as the primary point of contact for escalating operational issues concerning KYC and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) matters
Analyze KYC trends and potential fraud risks, and propose proactive measures to prevent such occurrences
Assist in audits and liaise with regulatory bodies when necessary
Offer guidance and mentorship to less experienced KYC analysts and promote a culture of compliance and ethical conduct within the team

Requirements:

Hold a Bachelor’s degree from a university
Proficient in written and spoken English
Must have at least 5 years of practical experience in KYC, AML, or managing fraud operations
Exhibit impeccable character traits with a strong emphasis on integrity and professionalism
Possess robust leadership capabilities and the capacity to efficiently guide a team with minimal oversight
Previous exposure to managing the distinction between global and local compliance requirements is a notable asset
A background or interest in the crypto/blockchain field is highly advantageous
Comfortable operating in a dynamic and rapidly evolving work environment
