The Opportunity

Crypto.com is seeking a Product Design Manager to lead a team of designers within the Exchange division. In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping design strategies across various products in web and mobile applications, supporting product designers, collaborating with product managers, and cultivating a positive environment for your team to produce top-notch designs.

Responsibilities:

Lead a team of designers through design collaboration, feedback, and guidance.
Develop designs to steer product and feature directions, effectively communicate ideas, or offer additional support.
Collaborate with diverse product managers overseeing different Exchange features to establish timelines, deliverables, and priorities.
Provide mentorship, coaching, and support to your designers, fostering a positive design culture to nurture their development.
Set up, uphold, and refine an effective design process for your team.
Share your design expertise and knowledge to educate and empower fellow designers.
Organize and facilitate user research activities, such as one-on-one interviews, focus groups, and usability tests.
Work with the executive team to comprehend and implement the overarching vision and direction.
Articulate and justify design choices, directions, and rationale to other teams.
Actively engage in trading on the exchange and proactively identify and address design and product issues within the team.

Requirements:

At least 2 years of experience working within a renowned trading team.
Proficient trader skills are essential.
Exceptional grasp of design, contributing a robust set of skills to the team.
Extensive background designing various B2C digital products/services for global audiences.
A comprehensive portfolio showcasing digital product and service design examples.
Profound understanding of user-centered design and UX principles, with a creative vision to map out design strategies with senior stakeholders.
Ability to manage and supervise multiple projects concurrently and successfully deliver quality products on a large scale.
Experience in nurturing and leading a design team.
Seasoned leader with a strong creative vision, adept at understanding business objectives, leadership, and proficient in executing ideas with the product design team.
Submission of a portfolio is mandatory for consideration.
