Token Metrics seeks a Senior Software Architect to play a pivotal role in advancing our analytics platform and trading bot. You will lead in enhancing our infrastructure to accommodate millions of global users while guaranteeing optimal performance, dependability, and security.

Primary Responsibilities

Perform a thorough evaluation of Token Metrics' existing architecture to pinpoint areas needing enhancement and efficiency.
Architect and supervise the implementation of adaptable solutions to cater to a large user base across the globe.
Collaborate with diverse teams to align technical strategies with business goals.
Offer technical guidance and mentorship to the development team.
Keep up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends, and propose innovative solutions.
Ensure the security and reliability of Token Metrics' platforms on a substantial scale.
Create and manage architectural documentation and standards.
Deploy strategies to notably reduce the occurrence of bugs in our platform.
Improve the quality assurance process to boost the reliability of our engineering output.

Necessary Skills and Requirements

Possession of a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Over 10 years of experience in software development with a minimum of 5 years in a senior architectural position.
Advanced knowledge of system design and architectural principles.
Proven track record in scaling applications to support a large user base.
Proficiency in OLAP and OLTP databases, particularly with Snowflake.
Expertise in modern web technologies and frameworks like Next.js, Supabase, Tailwind, and Shadcn.
Strong background in cloud computing and distributed systems.
Relevant certification such as the Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect.
Exceptional problem-solving abilities and strategic thinking proficiency.
Effective communication skills with the capability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Extensive experience in implementing bug mitigation strategies and enhancing software quality.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous involvement in the cryptocurrency or fintech sector.
Knowledge of blockchain technologies and decentralized applications.
Exposure to machine learning and AI, especially in trading algorithms.
Accomplishments related to successful large-scale system migrations.
