Responsibilities

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our FinCrime prevention team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing products and solutions related to transaction monitoring, fraud prevention, AML, and Anti Terrorism Financing. You will work on critical projects, collaborate with various teams, and contribute to architectural and conceptual solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Develop scalable and resilient services using Java within an event-driven microservices architecture
Write clean code with high test coverage and extensive unit testing
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize systems for reliability, performance, and scalability
Design and maintain publicly available REST APIs with a focus on performance and scalability
Utilize message-oriented middleware such as Apache Kafka and RabbitMQ
Demonstrate proficiency in CI/CD practices and have knowledge of AWS, Terraform, and Kubernetes

Requirements

Proficiency in software development using modern Java frameworks like Spring Boot and Micronaut with Java 21+
Experience with both relational and non-relational databases, particularly Postgres and MongoDB
Ability to create and maintain REST APIs with a focus on optimization and scalability
Familiarity with message-oriented middleware such as Apache Kafka and RabbitMQ for event-driven microservices
Background in CI/CD and working knowledge of AWS, Terraform, and Kubernetes
