At a pivotal juncture in our growth, having recently concluded our Series B funding round, the realm of regulatory technologies (reg-techs) is increasingly crucial for the crypto ecosystem. As Notabene expands, we are seeking new team members to help shape the future landscape of the crypto industry.

The Impact Expectations

In the role of Finance Manager, you will have a pivotal role in streamlining internal financial processes. You will lead the implementation of new financial software systems, ensuring the efficiency of our accounting processes, and providing crucial financial analysis. Your contributions will directly support our operational efficiency and provide essential financial clarity as we progress.

What You Will Encompass

Handle all accounting systems and processes to maintain smooth financial operations.
Manage internal finance processes, including accounting, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
Direct the transition to new financial software systems such as AR and Sales Tax software.
Conduct in-depth analysis of financial outcomes to pinpoint areas for enhancement.
Educate internal stakeholders on new software platforms and cooperate with relevant teams for successful implementations.
Collaborate with external accountants to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.

Full implementation of reliable AR and sales tax software.
Establishing clear accounting processes for investigating under or over performance areas swiftly.
Valuable contributions to company fundraising endeavors.
Implementation of scalable financial processes adaptable to company growth, with broad finance-related expertise.

Requirements

Familiarity with GAAP guidelines and practical experience.
Proficient in establishing scalable finance processes.
Strong attention to detail, emphasizing accuracy.
Proactive oversight and ownership of work outcomes.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and adept at handling large datasets.
Ability to comprehend downstream impacts of financial decisions.

Desirable Skills

Capability in developing business cases for investment.
Experience with contemporary finance software.
Recent experience in software implementation.
Aptitude in FP&A functions, such as analyzing performance versus planned outcomes.
CPA certification a plus.
Preferred location on the East Coast.
