Responsibilities

Collaborate closely with team members (developers, product managers, customer support, and partners) to develop, test, and deliver high-quality products
Create comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure thorough testing of the products
Identify, analyze, and track product defects
Develop and execute automation scripts
Investigate and reproduce functional backend software issues
Analyze root causes of test script failures
Identify deficiencies in test scripts and suggest improvements for better coverage
Conduct investigatory testing of unreleased features, defining requirements and understanding their impact
Design test scenarios for the above mentioned features

Requirements

Minimum of 6 years of experience in software testing, including manual and automated methodologies
Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
Experience in testing backend services such as APIs, Databases, and distributed services
Familiarity with Linux and database operations, including MySQL, SQLServer, and Oracle
Knowledge of building test environments using CICD and Spring Boot
Strong programming skills, proficient in at least one of Java, Python, or other programming languages
Excellent analytical and troubleshooting abilities
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process and using collaboration tools like Jira, Trello, and Slack
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Self-managed and proactive work style, with the ability to work independently within a team-centric environment
