About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic individual to lead a team dedicated to designing industry-leading Crypto trading systems for various markets, including Spot, Margin, Perpetuals, Futures, and Options. This pivotal role entails crafting risk control models and trading tools to support daily trading volumes exceeding ten billion USD for retail and institutional clients. The position is based in either Hong Kong or Singapore.

Key Responsibilities

• Spearhead the design and evolution of OKX's trading system, encompassing critical components such as match engine, order management system (OMS), risk assessment, and liquidation processes for spot and derivatives markets.
• Develop tailored risk control models including isolated margin, single-currency, multi-currency, and portfolio margin to optimize capital efficiency and platform risk management.
• Establish and fine-tune trading parameters and risk controls like tick size, MMR tiering, and margin discount ratios.
• Continuously enhance system stability, latency, and risk management by benchmarking against competitors and traditional financial trading systems.
• Anticipate industry trends, user preferences, and regulatory demands to enhance trading assets and infrastructure at the root level.
• Implement a robust risk control framework, conduct stress testing, and actively monitor potential risks to fortify platform resilience.
• Mentor and upskill the team on trading systems and risk control mechanisms to maintain OKX's leading position in the sector.

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in Crypto exchange or traditional investment banking, with a track record in designing trading systems for spot and derivatives markets.
• Educational background in finance or computer science, complemented by CFA/FRM certifications and profound knowledge of derivatives market dynamics.
• Proven experience in architecting sophisticated backend systems.
• Possess strong analytical skills, logical reasoning, and a penchant for continuous learning.
• Demonstrated competency in team building and leadership, particularly in managing global teams exceeding 20 members.
• Previous exposure to working in foreign markets and multinational corporations, with excellent English communication skills.
