About the Role

The role of a Solution Architect entails engaging with the expanding user base to develop solutions that leverage Chainlink's array of products and services, with a focus on financial market infrastructures and financial messaging systems like Swift and FIX. Collaboration with Product and Engineering teams to align product evolution with market demands is another critical aspect of this role. Establishing expertise in financial market infrastructures and messaging systems, the Solution Architect actively contributes to the development of the BCM (Banking Capital Markets) product suite.

Your Impact

• Accelerate the adoption of Chainlink products within financial messaging systems and market infrastructure by building strong relationships with key stakeholders, providing technical expertise throughout sales and implementation processes.
• Lead and engage in project scoping, gathering requirements, and designing solutions that leverage Chainlink products to address challenges in the capital markets sector.
• Play a significant role in shaping the Chainlink capital markets product strategy through insights, market feedback, and technical expertise.
• Collaborate closely with internal technical teams to offer feedback and guidance on product enhancements, bug fixes, and new feature development to address capital market requirements effectively.
• Develop in-depth understanding of the capital markets industry, market trends, challenges, and emerging technologies to effectively promote Chainlink products.

Requirements

• Proficiency in financial messaging systems/protocols like Swift and FIX.
• Experience in technical pre/post-sales support, particularly with major institutions in capital markets and the broader financial industry.
• Expertise in designing and building mission-critical financial systems.
• Understanding of banking and capital markets structures and processes across diverse sectors and asset types.
• Knowledge of financial market infrastructures like CSDs, CCPs, payment systems, and trading platforms.
• Familiarity with blockchains, digital asset platforms, and their pertinence to the traditional financial industry.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in programming languages like Solidity, Golang, Rust, JS, Java, Python, C/C++.
• Direct experience in architectural/engineering roles with blockchain applications.
• Knowledge of regulatory trends related to digital assets and blockchains.
• Experience with DeFi protocols.
