The Finance and Accounting (F&A) team is a diverse group encompassing Financials Control & Business Performance Management, Procurement, Digital Transformation, Tax, Treasury, and Operations. The Transfer Pricing Senior Associate / Manager will play a key role in enhancing the company's transfer pricing policies and documentation, facilitating intercompany transactions, preparing Local File/Master File documents, and handling Country-by-Country Reporting (CbCR). This position requires exceptional analytical abilities, experience in financial services or technology-driven environments, and the capacity to collaborate with cross-functional teams to oversee intricate intercompany structures.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, review, and reconcile intercompany journal entries for transfer pricing, ensuring adherence to global tax accounting standards.
- Assist in developing and maintaining transfer pricing documentation (Local File, Master File, CbCR) in alignment with OECD and local regulations.
- Contribute to the management of the Group transfer pricing model, implementing transfer pricing policies, and legal agreements for intercompany transactions.
- Coordinate with finance teams and consultants for the timely submission of CbCR, BEPS Pillar 2, and other transfer pricing filings.
- Conduct financial analyses and benchmarking to support transfer pricing strategies, engaging external advisors as needed.
- Collaborate with accounting, legal, treasury, and business units to align transfer pricing workstreams with other operational functions.
- Assist in tax and financial audits by preparing necessary responses and documentation.
- Optimize processes and utilize tax, accounting, and AI technology to enhance efficiency in data collection and reporting.
- Stay informed on global tax regulations, transfer pricing guidelines, OECD directives, and industry developments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field; advanced degree (e.g., MBA, Taxation) or certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) desirable.
- 4+ years of experience in transfer pricing or tax, with at least 2 years in-house or at a Big 4/consulting firm; fintech/tech exposure beneficial.
- Profound understanding of OECD guidelines, Local File/Master File requirements, BEPS Pillar 2, and CbCR.
- Ability to adapt and engage in hands-on operational transfer pricing practices.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and familiarity with tools like Bloomberg or RoyaltyRange.
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and tax software preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational abilities, showcasing resourcefulness and driving workstreams to completion.
