Growth Lab is a small PR consultancy working with crypto and fintech companies. We’re looking for a proactive, focused teammate who can research journalists, build targeted media lists, write compelling pitches and follow through on outreach. You’ll take ownership of assigned tasks, apply feedback and keep work moving, with direct guidance from the founder.
What you’ll do
Research journalists and their recent coverage to identify relevant people to approach.
Build and maintain accurate media lists, with useful notes on each reporter’s interests.
Help develop story angles and write clear, personalised media pitches.Support journalist outreach and follow-ups, with guidance.
Track coverage, interview opportunities and deadlines.Help prepare briefing documents, client updates and interview materials.
Follow crypto and financial news to spot opportunities for our clients.
Keep assigned work organised and follow it through to completion.
Who we’re looking for
You write clearly in English, enjoy research and want to understand how PR works.
You’re comfortable taking direction, asking questions when something is unclear and applying feedback to your next piece of work.
You bring determination and focus.
When a task takes more digging than expected, you keep working through it and communicate when you need help. You pay attention to the brief, check your work and flag delays early.
Familiarity with media pitching is needed.
