This holder can take any 18650 size battery [even salvaged/recycled from laptops with or without nipples] and allow swapping without soldering. It powers devices for long operation periods on the cheap. My client wanted a holder to power a Raspberry pi running Debian and controlling a camera for timelapses of a construction in an isolated region. A ton of metrology for Mitutoyo fanboys, then AutoCAD drafting, then Autodesk Fusion 360 modeling, then 3d printing with a ton of custom G-Code [for starters to include more than ten M3 square nut metal inserts mid-print], then a ton of back and forth testing and improving. Both the customer and me loved the project and the time spent in the countryside.
