My first job after passing the CPALE is in the auditing firm as an associate on October 6, 2022. I gained auditing experience by working on local and offshore accounts. I learned how to vouch for different financial statement line items and was assigned to perform evidence-gathering activities (EGAs) such as cash and cash equivalents, property, plant, and equipment, prepayments, accounts payable, accruals, share capital and other equity accounts, and intercompany transactions and send emails to clients. Likewise, I was able to footnote and trace financial statements.
