I'm Varun Sharma, working as a Java Back-End Developer at GlobalLogic, where I build RESTful APIs using Spring Framework. I'm currently focused on Web3 and Blockchain Technology, having Knowledge and experience of working with Ethereum and EVM compatible chains, writing safe and secure Smart-Contracts along with different EIPs(20, 721, 1155, 4626 etc). I develop user-friendly and responsive Full-Stack Decentralized Applications(dApps) that actually solves some real world problems in the field of Finance, Healthcare, Social Media etc. I like to explore and follow new and Emerging Sectors of the Web3 space like DeFi, Digital Identities, RWAs, Layer 2s, Security, NFTs, Payments and much more. ● Developed robust REST APIs using Java, Spring Boot, MongoDB, and AWS, ensuring seamless integration and scalability. ● Implemented ClamAV-based virus scanning, quarantining and deleting infected files, enhancing security in the project. ● Worked along with UI developers to implement a mechanism enabling end-users to directly upload files to S3 buckets via AWS pre-signed URLs, eliminating the 30MB limit imposed by API Gateway. ● Managed on-call duties, promptly resolving production bugs and issues to maintain system functionality, and implemented efficient strategies, minimizing downtime and optimizing system performance. ● Improved code efficiency through optimization, refactoring, resolving bugs, reducing code smells and increasing code coverage through JUnit test cases, ensuring robustness and reliability.
