Independent execution- and risk-focused analysis of Ethos, a web3 reputation service built around X (Twitter) identities. Scope of review: – team communication and product signals, – concept assumptions versus real-world usage, – token and incentive design (where applicable), – product maturity and development activity, – real usability and interaction flows in practice. The analysis focused on whether Ethos functions as a usable reputation layer beyond narrative claims, and how design decisions affect trust, adoption, and long-term sustainability. Output: A structured written review highlighting execution risks, weak assumptions, and practical limitations, alongside elements that appear robust in real usage.
