Edited the award-winning short film You Think, Though You’re Not, a sci-fi piece directed by Salahoddin Noori. This project allowed me to fully explore cinematic storytelling—something I’m deeply passionate about. The film won four international awards for Best Editing: FFTG Awards, USA (Certificate of Achievement) IFAESF, Rome, Italy (Best Editing) Valencia Film Festival, Venezuela (Best Editing) South Asian Independent Film Festival, India (Best Editing) Due to distribution rights, I’m unable to share the full film here. This project showcases two distinct film editing methods applied to different scenes from a series: 1. Parallel Editing – Police Sequence A tension-driven scene edited using cross-cutting techniques to build suspense between simultaneous events. Focused on pacing, continuity, and escalation. 2. Jump Cut – Internal Conflict Sequence A stylistic approach using jump cuts to portray psychological disturbance and internal conflict within a character. Edited for rhythm, fragmentation, and visual impact. These clips were created as editing method showcases. Created an independent, practice-based trailer for the Iranian feature film Sorkhpoost (The Warden). This project was developed as a personal exercise to explore cinematic trailer editing, focusing on suspense, pacing, and emotional buildup. Directed and edited a large-scale Valentine’s Day event inspired by the popular series Squid Game. The interactive event was held in a major shopping center and filmed using four hidden and handheld cameras. Participants encountered a mysterious button with a message: “If your love is beside you, press this button.” Once pressed, actors dressed as Squid Game guards approached and gave them a mysterious card reading: “Be here with your love at 7 PM.” At 7 PM, a live band performed a surprise concert for all participants, ending with a dramatic balloon drop over the crowd. I handled both multi-camera direction and full post-production, editing over 400 video files into an engaging recap of the experience.
