I’ve worked on a few forex bots over time, mostly for MT4 and MT5. It usually starts with someone having an idea or a strategy, sometimes very clear, sometimes not really… and we try to turn that into something the platform can actually run.
Building a bot for MT4 or MT5 isn’t just about writing the logic and done. There’s a lot of small things that come up. Order execution, timing, spreads, weird behavior during high volatility. Even if the strategy looks good on paper, it doesn’t always behave the same in real market conditions. So yeah, a lot of the work ends up being testing and adjusting.
I can help build different types of bots depending on what you need. Simple ones, like basic entry and exit rules, or more complex setups with indicators, risk management, trailing stops, stuff like that. Some people want fully automated trading, others just semi automated tools. Both are fine.
I’ve also worked on improving existing bots. Sometimes they open trades too often, or risk is not managed well, or they just stop working properly after some time. Fixing those can be a bit messy, but usually doable.
I don’t really try to oversell it. A bot is just a tool, it depends a lot on the strategy behind it. But I focus on making sure it runs properly on MT4 or MT5, handles trades correctly, and doesn’t break when the market gets a bit rough.
