A bare VPS is not a server yet. I will turn your Ubuntu/Debian VPS into a secure, documented, ready-to-use machine.
Base setup ($50) includes:
- System update, timezone, swap if needed
- SSH key login + disable password login, fail2ban
- Firewall (UFW) — only the ports you actually need
- Docker + Docker Compose installed and verified
- One app of your choice deployed (e.g. a website, Discourse, a bot, an API)
- Domain + free HTTPS (Let's Encrypt) with auto-renewal
- Basic uptime + certificate-expiry health check script
- Handover notes: what was installed, where, and how to maintain it
Add-ons (message for price): Cloudflare Tunnel setup, mail/SMTP configuration, backup automation, migration from another server.
What I need from you: VPS login (root or sudo), and DNS access if you want HTTPS on your domain. You keep full control of the server and your data at all times — change the credentials after handover if you wish.
I maintain production VPS servers daily — this is the exact setup I run myself.
