The AI Engineering Manager role at Foundry presents an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual to join our team. As part of Digital Currency Group's subsidiary, you will work under the guidance of the VP of AI to lead the development and implementation of AI solutions that complement blockchain protocols, ensuring the successful delivery of innovative projects.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Utilize your expertise in AI, machine learning, and blockchain technologies to guide the AI engineering team towards successful project outcomes.
- Collaborate closely with decentralized AI and compute teams to deploy and supervise AI-centric projects within blockchain frameworks.
- Mentor and manage a team of AI and data engineers, fostering a productive and cooperative work environment.
- Oversee the planning and execution of AI initiatives that align with both technical specifications and business objectives.

Minimum Qualifications; Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in AI and machine learning, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership role.
- Proficient in AI frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch.
- Strong programming skills in languages like Python.
- Understanding of blockchain technology and decentralized networks.
- Ability to navigate complex AI projects from planning to delivery.
- Proven track record in team management and project completion.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective technical and non-technical stakeholder engagement.
Preferred Qualifications; Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Experience with blockchain platforms like Ethereum, Bittensor, or Polkadot.
- Possession of a Ph.D. in AI, Machine Learning, Computer Science, or a related field.

The salary range for this role is $125,000-$225,000 with the potential for modifications in the future. This encompasses base compensation solely, excluding other benefits like 401K, bonuses, etc.
