The ideal candidate will be tasked with establishing a robust business framework, exploiting market-specific opportunities, and driving sustainable growth in user interaction and transaction volume across both fiat and cryptocurrency channels.

Key Responsibilities:

Craft regional strategies that align with global goals and implement them at a country level.
Monitor important business metrics like user acquisition, trading volume, conversion rates, and merchant activities.
Represent the African market in internal decision-making and global strategic planning.
Manage the growth and governance of the P2P merchant network in the region.
Ensure liquidity, pricing accuracy, compliance, and sustained merchant viability.
Collaborate with global P2P teams to introduce localized features and initiatives.
Identify and leverage local fiat on/off-ramp opportunities through PSPs, mobile wallets, and banking partners.
Coordinate with internal teams to deliver market-ready solutions.
Lead compliance and legal alignment efforts to address market risks and regulations.
Support Binance's compliance roadmap while ensuring business continuity and user accessibility.

Team Management & Requirements:

Oversee the Africa regional team, nurturing a culture of performance and collaboration.
Mentor and guide team members to enhance their capabilities.
Recruit and develop talent to address skill gaps, with a focus on the P2P domain.
Requires a minimum of 12 years of experience, with at least 8 years in crypto, fintech, payments, or related sectors.
Demonstrated proficiency in developing and executing business strategies across multiple regions.
Comprehensive knowledge of crypto ecosystems and experience working in African markets.
Strong cross-functional collaboration, project management, and communication skills.
Fluent in English, with proficiency in French or regional languages as a plus.
Possess a strong work ethic, integrity, resilience, and a fervent belief in crypto adoption within emerging markets.
