Astra DAO is looking for a skilled individual to join as a Social Media Manager, responsible for developing and maintaining a robust social media presence for the company. The ideal candidate will manage advertising campaigns, engage audiences with original content, collaborate with influencers, address community feedback, and oversee customer service on all platforms.
Role Overview
- Plan and execute advertising initiatives on company social media channels.
- Create compelling written and visual content specific to each campaign.
- Ensure consistent online visibility to enhance brand recognition and interaction.
- Monitor and protect the company's reputation on social media.
- Collaborate with influencers to expand brand visibility.
- Vigilantly address and engage with comments and inquiries across social media profiles.
- Aim to increase Token Metrics social media followers by 5% monthly.
- Proactively seek out opportunities for interviews.
- Utilize tools like Canva AI and Adobe for visually appealing social media content.
- Work closely with product managers to deliver compelling narratives on various platforms.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- Over 5 years of experience in social media management and strategy.
- Strong understanding of crypto-related concepts (Defi, Yield Farming, Staking, IDO/IEO).
- Previous success in managing social media for crypto, web3, or blockchain entities.
- Proficiency in creating and sharing content on diverse social media outlets.
- Skilled in social media analytics and performance assessment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

What You’ll Do
Design and maintain comprehensive risk frameworks tailored to Web3 systems (protocol, liquidity, counterparty, smart contract).
Monitor and analyze on-chain activity, market volatility, and ecosystem health to identify emerging threats.
Work closely with treasury, quant, and governance teams to ensure risk-adjusted strategies.
Establish and document risk policies and mitigation plans (both operational and token-economic).
Contribute to internal audits, compliance with applicable jurisdictions, and protocol transparency.
Engage with community and DAO contributors to maintain open risk communication

Have 3–5+ years in risk management, quantitative finance, or DeFi / crypto projects.
Know your way around DeFi protocols, liquidity pools, staking, on-chain analytics tools (Dune, Nansen, Arkham, etc.).
Understand tokenomics, smart contract audit principles, and treasury diversification strategies.
Feel at home reading Etherscan, analyzing TVL, and tracking wallet flows.
Communicate clearly, document well, and think both strategically and hands-on.
(Bonus) Have contributed to DAOs or Web3 protocols before — or maybe you’ve been a degen with a spreadsheet.
