Token Metrics is currently looking for a skilled Video Editor and Animator to become part of our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for merging, arranging, and refining recorded and stock footage to create captivating videos in line with the project director’s vision and objectives. The main focus of this role is to produce engaging video content that enhances our market presence and boosts viewer interaction.
Primary Responsibilities:
Video Production:
Producing top-notch videos and snippets.
Crafting content for various social media platforms like YouTube Shorts, TikTok, and Instagram Reels.
Editing film segments to ensure seamless transitions.
Managing and categorizing video files.
Generating video versions suitable for mobile and web platforms.
Editing Process:
Understanding the demands and requirements of the production team.
Assessing scripts and raw footage to create shot lists.
Trimming and arranging footage sequences.
Incorporating music, dialogues, graphics, and effects.
Creating initial and final edits.
Ensuring seamless sequencing and flow.
Collaborating with relevant parties throughout the editing phase.
Keeping up-to-date with new editing technologies and techniques.
Considering various editing approaches.
Ensuring adherence to journalistic standards.
Adapting formats and file dimensions as necessary.
Channel Growth:
Developing and implementing strategies to attract and retain subscribers for the Token Metrics YouTube channel.
Required Skills:
Technical Proficiency:
Mastery in Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects.
Experience with editing tools and digital technology (e.g., Avid Media Composer, Lightworks, Final Cut).
