About the role:

The role of an OTC Derivatives Trader involves structuring, pricing, and executing client trades on a daily basis, along with managing associated positions and risks effectively.

Responsibilities:

Trade across a diverse range of cryptocurrencies, such as spot, derivatives, and DeFi, while also contributing to central risk book management through proactive hedging.
Accurately price and quote vanilla as well as complex exotic options and structured products promptly.
Ensure precise booking of all trades and provide operational and financial support as required.
Collaborate with internal teams and our research unit to enhance our market understanding and maintain leadership in the competitive landscape.
Engage with various departments, including Business Development, Trading Operations, Legal, and management, to facilitate project delivery.
Maintain extensive knowledge of GSR's service offerings and client base.
Communicate effectively with other teams on diverse workflow initiatives and trade matters.

Your Profile:

Minimum of three years of experience in options, derivatives, or delta one trading within a bank, hedge fund, or proprietary trading firm.
Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Mathematics, or a related field.
Strong logical reasoning and analytical skills.
Proficiency in coding for data processing and analysis, along with knowledge of software development and engineering principles.
Ideal qualifications include strong software development skills in lower-level languages and Python, and familiarity with the unique characteristics of cryptocurrency markets and blockchain technology.
