About the role:

The role of an OTC Derivatives Trader involves structuring, pricing, and executing client trades on a daily basis, along with managing associated positions and risks effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Trade across a diverse range of cryptocurrencies, such as spot, derivatives, and DeFi, while also contributing to central risk book management through proactive hedging.
• Accurately price and quote vanilla as well as complex exotic options and structured products promptly.
• Ensure precise booking of all trades and provide operational and financial support as required.
• Collaborate with internal teams and our research unit to enhance our market understanding and maintain leadership in the competitive landscape.
• Engage with various departments, including Business Development, Trading Operations, Legal, and management, to facilitate project delivery.
• Maintain extensive knowledge of GSR's service offerings and client base.
• Communicate effectively with other teams on diverse workflow initiatives and trade matters.

Your Profile:

• Minimum of three years of experience in options, derivatives, or delta one trading within a bank, hedge fund, or proprietary trading firm.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Strong logical reasoning and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in coding for data processing and analysis, along with knowledge of software development and engineering principles.
• Ideal qualifications include strong software development skills in lower-level languages and Python, and familiarity with the unique characteristics of cryptocurrency markets and blockchain technology.
