Responsibilities:
- Serve as a subject matter expert in financial crime compliance, including the understanding of risks, controls, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Identify and stay updated on new regulatory requirements related to financial crime compliance.
- Manage meeting agendas, notes, submissions, and action plans.
- Validate and maintain controls used to detect financial crime compliance risks.
- Aid in the development and maintenance of policies and procedures.
- Evaluate processes for identifying, documenting, and evaluating compliance risks associated with Binance's activities, offering advice and recommendations as needed.
- Assess the impact of FCC risks on internal projects, policies, procedures, processes, and systems.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in compliance/financial crime compliance, prior knowledge of sanctions is advantageous.
- Familiarity with digital currencies, banking operations, and associated processes, procedures, and control systems.
- ACAMS or ACFCS certification is preferred.
- High level of energy and motivation with excellent multitasking abilities.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Strong analytical and writing skills, with a sound judgment.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, capable of simplifying complex topics.
- Experience in stakeholder management.
- Self-driven, results-oriented, and enthusiastic about finding innovative solutions.
- University degree is a bonus.
