About the Role:

We are seeking a vigilant Content Editor & Proofreader who can enhance the quality of written content company-wide. Going beyond just grammar, this role involves ensuring clarity, consistency, brand alignment, and error-free content in all materials.

As a key part of our Global Brand Studio, you will have a significant impact on shaping the direction of a leading global brand.

In our AI-driven creative setting, you will also contribute to balancing human editorial judgment with machine-generated content to deliver precise and nuanced final work.

Responsibilities:

Proofread and Edit content for grammar, clarity, friendliness, and maintaining a human touch.
Fact-Check AI-generated material for accuracy, context, and source credibility to deliver thoroughly researched content.
Assist with editing University articles while supporting various content projects and formats such as long-form articles, newsletters, social media posts, visual copies, and scripts.
Ensure consistency in style, tone, and formatting across all content types and use of American or British English as appropriate.
Apply editorial judgment in AI workflows to enhance AI-generated content.
Collaborate with writers, designers, content strategists, and project managers to ensure quality and efficiency.
Optimize editorial processes by training and enhancing AI tools for editing and quality assurance.
Serve as the final reviewer to catch any errors before content is published.

Desired Skills and Experience:

High proficiency in English language including grammar, syntax, tone, and storytelling.
Ability to tailor content for various digital platforms and target audiences.
Experience or interest in AI tools like ChatGPT, GrammarlyGO, Jasper, etc., for content creation.
Proficiency in using content management systems like WordPress.
Familiarity with cryptocurrencies and blockchain is advantageous.
Strong attention to detail in identifying subtle inconsistencies and errors.
Effective communication skills for providing feedback and assessing AI-generated suggestions.
Ability to manage high volumes of content efficiently with iterative revisions.
5+ years of experience in editing, proofreading, or content quality assurance.
Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field preferred.

Bonus Skills (AI-Aware):

Experience in editing AI-generated content or working in AI-driven editorial workflows.
Knowledge of prompt engineering and improving AI tone/style outputs.
Understanding of content authenticity, plagiarism checks, and AI content detection tools.
Interest in ethical considerations and best practices of human-AI content collaboration.
