Responsibilities

Engage in the full software development lifecycle, encompassing requirements analysis, test planning, execution, defect tracking, product release, and maintenance, with an emphasis on Backend Testing.
Collaborate closely with team members to design, develop, test, and deliver high-quality products.
Develop detailed and effective test plans and cases for various applications, like Data applications, Data platform, and pipelines.
Proactively identify, report, analyze, and monitor issues in an efficient manner and enhance test strategy to streamline manual test efforts.
Construct and execute Automation scripts.

Requirements

Minimum of 6 years of QA engineering experience, specializing in Automation with proficiency in Backend Testing and Intermediate coding skills in Python or Java.
Proficient in creating clear and thorough test plans and cases.
Hands-on experience in testing Backend services including APIs, Databases, and distributed services, with solid SQL testing knowledge.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
Additional Benefits: Knowledge in Blockchain or Web3 domain and experience in Big Data middle-wares testing involving Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Kafka, and Flink.
