Responsibilities
- Engage in the full software development lifecycle, encompassing requirements analysis, test planning, execution, defect tracking, product release, and maintenance, with an emphasis on Backend Testing.
- Collaborate closely with team members to design, develop, test, and deliver high-quality products.
- Develop detailed and effective test plans and cases for various applications, like Data applications, Data platform, and pipelines.
- Proactively identify, report, analyze, and monitor issues in an efficient manner and enhance test strategy to streamline manual test efforts.
- Construct and execute Automation scripts.
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 years of QA engineering experience, specializing in Automation with proficiency in Backend Testing and Intermediate coding skills in Python or Java.
- Proficient in creating clear and thorough test plans and cases.
- Hands-on experience in testing Backend services including APIs, Databases, and distributed services, with solid SQL testing knowledge.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
