Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

Minimum of 4 years of professional software development experience, working with object-oriented languages such as Java and Go

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or a closely related field

Familiarity with Golang Web Frameworks like Gin and Fasthttp, and knowledge of Golang development tools like go mod and go lint

Experience with database operations, including MySQL, PostgreSQL, and NoSQL, and proficiency in operating databases through raw commands

Smart Contract Engineer

The Uniswap Protocol, a decentralized trading and market making protocol on Ethereum, is seeking a junior smart contract engineer to contribute to the development of the next generation of the protocol. This role involves designing and implementing smart contracts, researching and applying new smart contract paradigms, contributing to Ethereum Improvement Proposals (EIPs), participating in discussions from concept to launch, and maintaining backend services that interface with the Uniswap Protocol.

Responsibilities:

Contribute to the Uniswap protocol by designing and implementing smart contracts

Explore and implement new smart contract paradigms

Design and implement peripheral mechanisms for the Uniswap protocol

Contribute to Ethereum Improvement Proposals (EIPs)

Participate in discussions throughout the product development lifecycle

Build and maintain low-level backend services that interact with the Uniswap Protocol

Requirements:

1+ years of experience building and releasing Solidity contracts in a production environment

1+ years of experience working with blockchains, consensus algorithms, peer-to-peer (p2p) systems, or applied cryptography

Deep understanding of Ethereum, the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM), and general knowledge of the Ethereum roadmap

Strong comprehension of different blockchain designs, their tradeoffs, and the cryptography underlying blockchains

Strong foundation in computer science principles

Nice to haves:

The Opportunity

Responsibilities:

Develop cryptographic libraries and MPC wallet applications.

Contribute to the implementation of cryptography technology, specifically zero-knowledge proofs.

Research web3 ecosystem technologies and write technical documentation.

Conduct code audits for wallet signatures.

Qualifications:

Master's degree or higher in cryptography, mathematics, computer science, network security, or related fields.

Strong theoretical background in security, including proficiency in public key cryptography, symmetric and asymmetric cryptography principles, security protocol design, and blockchain and cryptography applications.

Familiarity with cryptographic theories such as zero-knowledge proofs, secure multiparty computation (MPC), threshold signatures, and homomorphic encryption.

Experience with basic cryptographic algorithms and relevant open-source libraries, ideally with applied research and development.

Proficiency in programming languages such as Golang, Java, C/C++, Rust.

Preferred publications at international cryptography conferences.
