SDK Engineer
At O(1) Labs, we are on a mission to drive a new era of applications powered by zero-knowledge cryptography. We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic engineer to join the O(1) Labs Engineering team. This role offers the opportunity to be part of a close-knit team, work independently on captivating interdisciplinary challenges, and contribute to groundbreaking projects.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain o1js, integrating it with various cryptographic systems and leveraging Mina Protocol.
- Build and maintain the zkapp-cli, which assists in scaffolding zkApps and offers developer tools for testing and deployment to Mina Protocol.
- Create and maintain innovative tools to support zkApp development.
- Understand and address the obstacles encountered by developers in this space.
- Collaborate with a Product Manager and other engineering teams.
- Participate in periodic team offsites held globally.
We welcome applications from engineers with diverse skill sets who are motivated to tackle novel problems in challenging areas. Proficiency in TypeScript or at least JavaScript is essential, with additional interest or expertise in functional programming, cryptography/blockchains, zero-knowledge proof systems, low-level performance optimizations, distributed systems, and conference speaking viewed favorably. While a strong foundation in TypeScript is a prerequisite, we value an individual's unique background and skills over specific requirements.
About the Company:
O(1) Labs comprises the team behind the incubation, launch, and development of Mina Protocol, a Layer 1 blockchain that drastically reduces blockchain size and remains scalable and decentralized, empowered by zero-knowledge technology. Through Mina and zk tech, we are at the forefront of constructing a privacy-focused Web 3.0.
Our pursuit aims to reshape societal systems, guided by a commitment to integrating diverse perspectives at every stage of innovation.
