AI Engineer, Trading Ops & Management
We are looking for a highly analytical and technically skilled individual to lead the advancement of our trading infrastructure. This unique role encompasses the operational responsibilities of a Trading Operations Specialist, the analytical aspects of a Risk Manager, and the technical expertise of an AI-focused Developer.
The ideal candidate will oversee daily operational processes, risk monitoring, and drive the digital transformation of these functions. Utilizing Large Language Models (LLMs), machine learning techniques, and advanced scripting, you will automate manual tasks, enhance predictive risk modeling, and develop real-time performance visualization tools and analyses.
Key Responsibilities:
Trading Operations and Performance Analysis with AI
- Coordinate the entire trade lifecycle across various asset classes. Implement AI workflows using Python (ML) and MLOps tools to automate manual tasks and reconcile operations.
- Conduct daily profit and loss attribution analysis, dissecting market movements, Greeks, and new activities. Employ AI/ML frameworks for anomaly detection in trade data and automated commentary generation for profit and loss reports.
- Maintain data accuracy within trading systems, middle-office platforms, and financial ledgers.
- Utilize AI tools to create reports and analyses on trading performance and perform adhoc business analytics.
Risk Monitoring & Control
- Develop real-time, AI-powered risk models using machine learning to forecast market volatility and alert the desk to emerging risks.
- Establish and update advanced risk reporting dashboards for the desk.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Experience: 3+ years in front-office operations, quant development, or a mix of risk management and systems architecture in a financial setting.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Python (for AI/ML) and strong understanding of SQL. Experience in developing AI workflows is highly advantageous.
- Financial Knowledge: Familiarity with profit and loss attribution, financial controls, market risk indicators (Greeks, VaR), financial markets, and products.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to approach operations with a "systems-thinking" mindset, aiming to automate manual tasks wherever possible.
- Capacity: Capability to excel in a high-pressure environment, including working extended hours as needed to meet global trading requirements.
