Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance mathematical models of intricate systems using probabilistic frameworks, particularly in the realm of blockchain technologies.
- Utilize advanced probability and statistics techniques to address real-world issues within distributed or networked environments.
- Interpret engineering requirements and transform them into mathematical models for thorough analysis.
- Collaborate with diverse teams to translate theoretical concepts into practical solutions with commercial viability.
- Lead applied research initiatives by combining academic rigor with industry-focused outcomes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Solid expertise in applied mathematics, specifically in complex systems and stochastic processes.
- Demonstrated experience in employing advanced mathematical tools to address large-scale real-world challenges.
- Effective collaboration and communication skills, capable of clearly articulating complex ideas in both written and verbal formats.
- Background or keen interest in blockchain, cryptography, distributed systems, or networks.
Bonus Requirements
- Exposure to blockchain concepts and decentralized technologies.
- Knowledge of cryptography and contributions to open-source projects.
- Advanced degree (PhD or MsC with significant research background) in Mathematics, Theoretical Computer Science, or related disciplines, along with relevant commercial experience.

Compensation
The expected salary range for this position is flexible and will be determined based on the assessment of your skills and experience throughout the interviewing process. Payment can be made in a combination of fiat and cryptocurrency as per mutual agreement.
