We are in search of a Group Product Manager to oversee BitGo’s wallet security and scaling endeavors, ensuring it continues to be the industry's most trusted custodian. This role requires managing wallet platform evolution to embrace new cryptographic advancements, streamline user experience, and scale to support both enterprise and retail applications ultimately. The role is pivotal in upholding enterprise-grade security while venturing into new market segments with a compliant wallet solution for diverse jurisdictions.
Role Overview:
We need an innovative leader with technical expertise to lead advancements in wallet security, cryptography, and user-friendliness while scaling the platform for wider adoption. The ideal candidate will collaborate with crypto-native teams, institutional clients, and key stakeholders to shape BitGo's wallet technology's future.
This full-time role is based in either our San Francisco or New York offices to facilitate prompt decision-making, collaboration, and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and steer the product strategy for BitGo’s wallet infrastructure, focusing on top-notch security, scalability, and user-friendliness.
- Head a cross-functional team to build state-of-the-art MPC-powered wallets with robust security features.
- Enhance enterprise and retail use cases ensuring a seamless user experience and high-end security protocols.
- Design scalable wallet solutions that accommodate escalating transaction volumes and emerging asset types effectively.
- Navigate regulatory complexities to build compliant wallet solutions for a global audience.
- Innovate new product features by integrating the latest cryptographic advancements, Web3 protocols, and account abstraction concepts.
- Maintain BitGo's market leadership by ensuring its position as a top custodian and wallet provider in the industry.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- 5+ years of product management expertise, ideally in fintech, blockchain, or security-focused software.
- In-depth knowledge of cryptography, particularly MPC, and strong familiarity with various wallet security models.
- Proven history of product launches and scaling for mass adoption.
- Experience leading growth initiatives while balancing security, usability, and scalability.
- Strategic thinking to define long-term vision and execute swiftly on immediate opportunities.
- Passion for Web3, DeFi, and digital assets with a profound understanding of wallet infrastructure and custody solutions.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to foster alignment across technical and non-technical teams.

Pay Transparency: Based on your experience and location, the average compensation for this role includes a base salary ranging from $120,000 to $190,000 USD along with equity, annual performance bonuses, and comprehensive benefits.
