THE ROLE

As a Marketing Specialist at Localcoin, you'll spearhead Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and digital marketing projects, analyze campaign data, and collaborate with teams to introduce new products. Your responsibilities will include overseeing online marketing strategies across various industries and regions, such as Google Ads, to ensure maximum utilization of digital advertising channels. This role demands a combination of technical expertise, analytical skills, creativity, and a data-centric approach. Prior experience in digital marketing or agency setups would be advantageous. This role will be stationed at our office in Etobicoke, ON, and will follow a hybrid work schedule.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

Collaborate with senior marketing management to plan and execute marketing campaigns aimed at yielding significant outcomes.
Lead SEO strategies and campaigns encompassing technical, local, and content aspects.
Manage and implement online marketing strategies comprising display ads, competitive analysis, retention marketing, and Google Ads.
Design tests, gather and assess data and results, identify trends and insights.
Work closely with internal teams to expand retention marketing endeavors.
Execute and refine day-to-day operations of digital advertising platforms and complete campaign creation cycle.
Unceasingly monitor, analyze, and report campaign performance and milestones using Google Analytics and SEMrush.
Liaise with our product team to comprehend and leverage generative AI results for enhancing the organic search performance of our digital assets.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

3-4 years of demonstrable experience in SEM strategy and execution, keyword research and optimization, marketing automation, analytics, and Local SEO.
Proficient understanding of performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition.
Proficiency in Search Console, Tag Manager, Google Ads, SEMrush, as well as native analytics on social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
Competence in HTML, Javascript, and regex is highly advantageous.
Possess a data-oriented, analytical mindset, and robust mathematical skills.
Seasoned project management capabilities, a proactive approach, and attention to detail.
A creative thinker capable of introducing fresh ideas and approaches to processes.
Prior experience in digital agency or digital marketing roles is an added advantage.
