About the Role:

We are seeking a Crypto-Native Social Media & Community Manager to enhance our Brand & Media team. This role entails expanding and engaging our audience on key social platforms, amplifying editorial and video content, and establishing The Block as a prominent voice in crypto conversations. The position involves strategic planning, content creation, community engagement, analytics reporting, and real-time trend monitoring.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute a comprehensive, cross-platform social strategy.
Promote The Block's research and reporting to media outlets.
Create and maintain a content calendar for tracking releases and announcements.
Drive audience growth and engagement through quality content.
Repackage and distribute editorial and video content across various social channels.
Foster an active community through interactions and user-generated content.
Monitor metrics, analyze performance, and generate monthly reports.
Stay informed on crypto trends and respond with relevant content.
Collaborate with writers and producers to optimize content for social media.
Coordinate partnerships and cross-promotions within the crypto community.
Manage reputation and address misinformation as needed.

What You'll Bring:

3+ years of social media or community management experience in the crypto, media, or tech industry.
Deep knowledge of crypto culture and social platforms.
Proficiency in content creation, including headlines, memes, and short-form video ideas.
Strong communication skills and ability to maintain a consistent brand voice.
Experience with analytics tools for data-driven decision-making.
Self-motivation and organization in a fast-paced remote environment.

Experience on a global or distributed team.
