Communications Manager at 21.co/21Shares

About the Role:

21.co, the parent company of 21Shares, is seeking a skilled Communications Manager with expertise in public relations and media relations. Join our dynamic in-house Communications/PR team and assist in promoting our brands to the business, finance, technology, and crypto press. This role will also involve coordinating industry events, managing timelines, and collaborating with our social and marketing teams. The position will be based in our Zurich office.

What You Will Be Doing:

Develop and implement the communications strategy for 21.co/21Shares
Write and maintain press releases and marketing materials
Coordinate speaking opportunities and media outreach at external events
Manage industry conference and award schedules, identifying key executive opportunities
Establish strong relationships with PR agencies
Monitor industry news and trends
Generate media pitches for reporters
Identify rapid commentary opportunities
Brainstorm ideas to leverage product initiatives
Collaborate with other departments for thought leadership and review

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in PR, fintech, or crypto
Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, or Public Relations
Strong writing skills
Enthusiasm to stay updated on current events and media coverage
Ability to communicate news-worthy topics to the press
Knowledge of the crypto industry preferred
Startup mentality and experience an advantage
Pre-existing relationships with reporters in business, finance, technology, and crypto sectors
Fluent in English, German/French proficiency preferable
