Role Overview:

We are looking for a skilled derivatives trader to join our trading team based in The Bahamas. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in derivatives trading, a keen interest in crypto markets, and proficiency in quantitative analysis. Responsibilities include managing trading strategies, collaborating across teams to build our franchise, and enhancing trading desk profitability.

Responsibilities:

Lead risk management for the derivatives portfolio within a global trading team spanning multiple locations
Implement risk mitigation strategies and ensure compliance with internal limits and regulations
Execute trades, handle counterparty flows, and conduct market analysis to identify trading opportunities
Stay informed on market trends, economic indicators, and regulatory changes impacting crypto markets
Engage with clients to understand their requirements and deliver customized derivatives solutions

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Finance, or related field
Minimum of five years of trading experience in a financial institution
Strong vision for developing a market-leading franchise business
Previous experience in crypto, FX, or equity derivatives (knowledge of exotics and structured products is a plus)
Proficient in quantitative analysis and financial modeling, with expertise in trading platforms and programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL
Excellent communication skills, team-oriented mindset, and ability to work under pressure with attention to detail
