Role Overview:

We are looking for a skilled derivatives trader to join our trading team based in The Bahamas. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in derivatives trading, a keen interest in crypto markets, and proficiency in quantitative analysis. Responsibilities include managing trading strategies, collaborating across teams to build our franchise, and enhancing trading desk profitability.

Responsibilities:

• Lead risk management for the derivatives portfolio within a global trading team spanning multiple locations
• Implement risk mitigation strategies and ensure compliance with internal limits and regulations
• Execute trades, handle counterparty flows, and conduct market analysis to identify trading opportunities
• Stay informed on market trends, economic indicators, and regulatory changes impacting crypto markets
• Engage with clients to understand their requirements and deliver customized derivatives solutions

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Finance, or related field
• Minimum of five years of trading experience in a financial institution
• Strong vision for developing a market-leading franchise business
• Previous experience in crypto, FX, or equity derivatives (knowledge of exotics and structured products is a plus)
• Proficient in quantitative analysis and financial modeling, with expertise in trading platforms and programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL
• Excellent communication skills, team-oriented mindset, and ability to work under pressure with attention to detail
