Overview of Role

Within our Blockchain team at Bitpanda, your mission will involve seamlessly integrating cryptocurrencies into our brokerage and white label solutions, ensuring smooth processes for depositing, withdrawing, and swapping crypto assets for our 25 million end-users to build their wealth.

Key Responsibilities

• Enhance and maintain Cryptonodes and services interfacing with different parts of the crypto ecosystem.
• Develop efficient, scalable solutions for backend systems with an event-driven architecture on AWS utilizing Kafka.
• Stay updated on new engineering practices and tools, utilizing data and metrics for continuous enhancement.
• Team up with skilled engineers for collaborative problem-solving and skill development.

Desired Qualifications

• Proficient in Python and RestAPI with experience in product-based companies.
• Skilled in relational or NoSQL databases, API design, and network communication methods.
• Enthusiastic about cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology with a sound understanding of blockchain networks.
• Knowledgeable about event-driven system design, including event streams and message brokers (e.g., Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Additional experience with AWS services, markets, DevOps infrastructure, Infrastructure-as-Code, AI, smart contracts, Cryptonodes, or Web3 is a plus.
