We are currently looking for an experienced individual to join our team as a Shader Artist. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on an exciting project called Seedworld, which is one of the biggest Metaverse projects ever created using Unreal 5.2+.

As a Shader Artist, your main responsibility will be to develop and optimize shaders for assets and landscapes in Seedworld. You will work closely with the Art Department team during the look development phase to ensure that the shader development matches the artistic style of the project. Additionally, you will collaborate with the Art Director to create high-quality shaders for human characters and fantasy elements.

To be successful in this role, you should have at least 5 years of experience in shader development in the gaming industry, with a track record of at least one AAA game shipped on PC or console in the last 5 years. You should also be proficient in using software such as Maya, Photoshop, Z-Brush, and Mudbox.

In addition to the required qualifications, experience with developing and compiling shaders within Unreal, as well as a good understanding of shading, texturing, and look development, are highly desired. Strong knowledge of lighting and understanding of 3D requirements before shader development, such as UV and Texture Layout, is a plus.

We are seeking individuals who are fast, organized, collaborative, and able to handle feedback. Excellent organizational and communication skills, along with fluency in English, will be necessary for this role.

If you have experience with developing shaders in ShaderFX for Maya, knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Mel, or C++, or experience with FX shaders, these would be considered bonus skills.
