Who You Are: We are seeking a skilled frontend engineer who is adept at delivering products, even in uncertain situations. If you have a keen eye for excellence and enjoy collaborating with driven peers to elevate your skills, we want you! This position requires onsite work in New York City on a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities:

Lead the architectural design, development, and execution of the product roadmap

Construct efficient consumer applications using React Native with a focus on performance and quality

Create captivating and user-friendly interfaces

Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate GraphQL API interfaces

Partner with designers to implement new features, suggest improvements, and explore creative ideas

Enhance the frontend infrastructure continuously

Requirements:

Minimum of 4 years developing production software (experience in web3 is a plus)

Demonstrated background in developing consumer-oriented products

Proven ability to independently propose and implement technical solutions for complex business challenges

Proficiency in TypeScript and React

Nice to have:

Familiarity with React Native

Experience in building native mobile consumer applications for iOS and Android

Noteworthy contributions to open source projects or publicly available code showcasing your skills

Prior exposure to web3 technologies

Salary: $200,000 - $250,000 annually based on qualifications

Currently, we are expanding our team in New York City to focus on a new web3 social product, with the support of leading web3 investors.

About You:

We are seeking an adept backend engineer with a solid record of delivering products and adapting to complex situations. You should have a strong interest in engineering practices and strive to enhance your skills alongside collaborative colleagues. This role requires you to be able to work in-person at our New York City office on a hybrid work schedule.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and implement our product roadmap

Explore and assess web3 technologies, making informed decisions on utilizing third-party APIs or developing in-house solutions

Collaborate with frontend engineers to build features on our GraphQL API

Develop robust and well-monitored backend services

Continuously enhance infrastructure and monitoring practices

Requirements:

Minimum of 4 years of experience in production software development (knowledge of web3 is a plus)

Proven experience in building and maintaining large-scale production systems

Capable of proactively proposing and implementing technical solutions to complex business challenges

Dedication to enhancing dev-ops practices for yourself and your team

Proficiency in Typescript, Node.js, and AWS

Nice to Have:

Experience working closely with product teams and users

Noteworthy open-source contributions or publicly available code

Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Posthog, NewRelic, ElasticSearch, etc.

Prior exposure to web3 technologies

Salary Range:

$200,000 - $250,000 (depending on experience)
