A leading crypto-focused venture capital fund is hiring a Social Media Manager on behalf of one of its high-potential portfolio projects. The role offers a unique opportunity to take ownership of social growth and brand voice in a fast-scaling Web3 product backed by experienced investors.
About the Project:
The project is a soon-to-launch crypto product operating at the intersection of DeFi and infrastructure, with strong technical foundations and a global target audience. As part of the early team, you will have a direct impact on community-building, brand awareness, and digital growth.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a strategic social media plan to drive engagement and follower growth
Manage daily operations and content publishing across platforms (X/Twitter, Telegram, Discord, LinkedIn, etc.)
Create engaging, timely content (tweets, memes, threads, visuals) tailored for the crypto-native audience
Monitor industry trends and adapt messaging in real time
Grow and nurture an active community of users, developers, and early supporters
Collaborate closely with product, design, and community teams to align messaging
Track KPIs and performance metrics, adjusting strategy based on data
Support influencer outreach, partnerships, and marketing campaigns
Requirements:
3+ years of experience in Social Media or Community Management
Proven experience in the crypto/Web3 space
Deep understanding of crypto trends, audience behavior, and meme culture
Strong writing skills and a creative, adaptive content style
Ability to thrive in a startup-like, remote-first work environment
Experience using social media tools and analytics platforms
Bonus: experience growing social accounts from 0 → 100k+ followers
What’s Offered:
Competitive salary: $80,000 – $120,000 USD/year
