I will build one small, tested Python REST API in 24 hours using Flask, SQLAlchemy, and SQLite.
Included scope
- One resource with id, name, description, and timestamps
- POST, list, get-by-id, PUT, and DELETE endpoints
- JSON request validation and consistent 400/404 responses
- Database initialization and repeatable local setup
- Pytest integration tests using a temporary SQLite database
- README with copy-paste install, run, and test commands
Acceptance criteria
- A clean install starts locally
- The full CRUD sequence passes from an empty database
- Invalid requests do not create partial records
- Missing IDs return 404
- The automated test suite passes without external services
You may provide your own table and field names before work starts. Authentication, deployment, multiple resources, third-party integrations, and production database migration are outside this fixed starter scope and can be quoted separately.
Work begins after LaborX escrow funding. Please do not send production passwords or private keys in chat.
