Whether the gig is a more laid back, funny, and sarcastic text, or, on the contrary, if it's a very formal, professional, and serious text, I am flexible and capable of changing my style. Also, my skillset allows me to provide writing services that require general knowledge, creativity, and research skills. Obviously, perfect grammar and language will be utilized throughout text.
Agreement on the deliverables, deadlines, and subsequent payment differs from gig to gig, but I usually follow a 2-step method.
1. Once we agree on the deliverables, we will set the first deadline. The first being the "first draft" deadline, and the second is for the "final draft". Included in the fee of any service I provide, is one "correction" or "editing request". That is to say, after the first draft, the client can change previously discussed ideas, and/or flag sentences/ paragraphs to be rewritten in an other style. The change in ideas cannot exceed 30% of the originally agreed upon points, while a change in style cannot exceed 50%. These percentages are taken based on the word count of the first draft.
2. At this point, we agree on a final deadline for the final draft.
While I prefer working on shorter texts, I would take on longer texts if I have the time.
