From a bare server to something that stays up without you watching it.
What I do:
- Clean Debian or Ubuntu setup: non-root user, SSH keys only, firewall, fail2ban, automatic security updates
- Your app running under systemd or Docker, so it restarts by itself after a crash or a reboot
- Caddy or Nginx in front with TLS certificates that renew themselves
- Cloudflare in front of that if you want the origin hidden
- A health check that messages your admin chat when the service goes down, instead of you finding out from users
- Logs you can actually read, and one page of notes on how to restart, update and roll back
Good fit if you have working code and no idea how to host it, or if your current server falls over and nobody knows why.
What I need from you: the VPS credentials, any provider, and your code or repository.
