My rate is 13 USD/hour or 0.09 USD/word for translation, edit, or proofreading gig. It is negotiable as long as it's reasonable.
In general, I would require 6 hours to do work of 1000 words. Additional hours would probably needed depends on the material.

The steps we would need to do are:

1. Discuss with the client about the project details, such as the topic, the script length, the deadline, file types needed, and any additional steps needed.
2. Price negotiation (if needed)
3. Project accepted and on process
4. Handing the result to client
5. Receiving feedback from client
6. If necessary, making correction and revision (maximum of two times)
7. Final result
8. Receive payment
