About the role:
In the role of a Cryptocurrency Algorithmic Trader, you will play a vital role in developing innovative models and algorithms in the dynamic realm of digital currencies. Your responsibilities include offering insights into cryptocurrency market behaviors and crafting cutting-edge automated trading algorithms.
Your tasks may involve analyzing market microstructure, enhancing existing algorithm performance, designing advanced computing architectures, and implementing new trading strategies. Your contributions will be pivotal in resolving complex business challenges using quantitative and technological approaches. Specific responsibilities include the analysis of market data to refine trading algorithms, design of complex computer system architectures, and creation of new data-driven trading models and algorithms.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deploy state-of-the-art automated trading algorithms customized for the cryptocurrency markets. Conduct thorough research and analysis to enhance trading strategies and risk management methodologies. Utilize your research findings to identify new patterns that can potentially translate into trading signals, test these signals in backtesting environments, and assess their performance carefully.
- Collaborate with a team of professionals to devise solutions for automated trading in the rapidly evolving crypto market.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in the cryptocurrency sector, applying these insights to improve your work.
Your Profile:
- Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Quantitative Finance, or a related technical field.
- Strong logical reasoning and analytical abilities.
- Proficient in coding for processing and analyzing large datasets.
- Knowledge and proficiency in software development and engineering principles.
- Bonus qualifications include prior demonstrable experience in electronic trading, particularly in fx/futures, strong software development skills (especially in lower-level languages and Python), and understanding of the distinctive attributes of cryptocurrency markets and blockchain technology.
