Application Security Engineer

Key Duties
- Enhance and uphold the security frameworks of Binance's associated enterprises, focusing on DeFi and Web3 technologies.
- Act as the primary point of contact for addressing security issues revealed through penetration tests, assessments, and bug bounty initiatives.
- Review penetration test outcomes and enact coding solutions to rectify vulnerabilities at the code level.
- Engage in collaborative efforts for engineering architecture designs, offering suggestions for enhancing system security.
- Integrate external blockchain security tools to amplify the overall protective measures.
- Assess and integrate AI solutions for identifying security issues across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), automating these procedures within Continuous Integration (CI) pipelines.
Prerequisites
- Minimum of 2 years of full-time iOS development background or proficiency in crafting mobile applications utilizing Kotlin and Java inclusive of the Android Software Development Kit (SDK).
- Proficient in at least two technical languages among Java, Swift, Kotlin, Go, Python, or Rust.
- The capability to develop client-server applications inclusive of secure communication protocols.
- Hands-on understanding of mobile security methodologies, standard vulnerabilities, and corresponding mitigation strategies.
- Enthusiasm for cryptocurrencies, DeFi, smart contracts, and safeguarding blockchain systems.
- Team-oriented individual with a penchant for quick learning.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to operate independently and tackle complex problems.
Preferred Skills
- Prior engagement with bug bounty programs.
- Familiarity with blockchains, DeFi design frameworks, wallet security, and prominent Web3 security susceptibilities.
- Practical experience in auditing and constructing smart contracts using Solidity or Rust.
- Actively contributing to popular libraries or projects within GitHub.
