The Opportunity

We are looking for a motivated and passionate individual to join our team as an AI/ML Engineer. As a subsidiary of Digital Currency Group, the most established investor in the blockchain industry, you will have the opportunity to work in a small, professional and entrepreneurial group.

Primary Responsibilities

As an AI/ML Engineer at Foundry, you will design, develop, and implement cutting-edge AI and machine learning solutions to tackle complex business challenges. Your responsibilities include:

• Improving AI models based on rankings on the Bittensor network.
• Developing machine learning models and algorithms to meet business needs.
• Extracting meaningful insights from large datasets using advanced data analysis techniques.
• Selecting appropriate datasets and data representation methods.
• Staying updated on the latest advancements in AI/ML technologies.
• Integrating machine learning models into production systems.
• Testing and validating models to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Collaborating with domain experts to enhance model performance.
• Creating and maintaining documentation for developed models, algorithms, and workflows.

Minimum Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in artificial intelligence and machine learning.
• Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
• Strong experience with machine learning frameworks including TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Solid understanding of statistical concepts and machine learning algorithms.
• Experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to explain concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
• Interest in decentralized computing and decentralized machine learning.
• Knowledge of natural language processing (NLP).

Preferred Qualifications

The following qualifications are preferred, but not required:

• Blockchain experience.
• Experience deploying machine learning models in a production environment.
• Knowledge of computer vision.
• Previous work in industries such as Fintech or cryptocurrency.
• Contributions to open-source projects.
