The Opportunity
We are looking for a motivated and passionate individual to join our team as an AI/ML Engineer. As a subsidiary of Digital Currency Group, the most established investor in the blockchain industry, you will have the opportunity to work in a small, professional and entrepreneurial group.
Primary Responsibilities
As an AI/ML Engineer at Foundry, you will design, develop, and implement cutting-edge AI and machine learning solutions to tackle complex business challenges. Your responsibilities include:
- Improving AI models based on rankings on the Bittensor network.
- Developing machine learning models and algorithms to meet business needs.
- Extracting meaningful insights from large datasets using advanced data analysis techniques.
- Selecting appropriate datasets and data representation methods.
- Staying updated on the latest advancements in AI/ML technologies.
- Integrating machine learning models into production systems.
- Testing and validating models to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Collaborating with domain experts to enhance model performance.
- Creating and maintaining documentation for developed models, algorithms, and workflows.
Minimum Qualifications
We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in artificial intelligence and machine learning.
- Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
- Strong experience with machine learning frameworks including TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Solid understanding of statistical concepts and machine learning algorithms.
- Experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to explain concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
- Interest in decentralized computing and decentralized machine learning.
- Knowledge of natural language processing (NLP).
Preferred Qualifications
The following qualifications are preferred, but not required:
- Blockchain experience.
- Experience deploying machine learning models in a production environment.
- Knowledge of computer vision.
- Previous work in industries such as Fintech or cryptocurrency.
- Contributions to open-source projects.

Skills & Requirements:
2–5 years building LLM-powered agents (LangGraph, CrewAI, ReAct, custom frameworks)
Strong Python skills + experience with tool calling, RAG, vector stores and evaluation

Fast executor who loves shipping in ambiguity

Skills & Requirements:
2–4 years in venture capital, startup operations, or technical role (engineering/product background strongly preferred)
