About the Role

As a Java Backend Engineer at our company, you will be part of the core trading team responsible for developing scalable and future-proof solutions. You will focus on building services and features that can handle a high volume of transactions effectively. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to work on innovative projects, collaborate with various engineering teams, and integrate with third-party vendors.

Responsibilities

• Develop efficient and scalable backend systems using event-driven architecture hosted on AWS with Kafka.
• Collaborate with QA engineers to ensure the quality of the codebase through comprehensive testing.
• Stay updated with the latest technologies to drive innovation and maintain cutting-edge services.
• Work alongside a skilled team of developers who can provide mentorship and support.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Java (11+) and a commitment to high-quality development practices.
• Experience with both relational and non-relational databases such as Postgres.
• Ability to create and manage REST APIs effectively.
• Interest in event-driven microservices and willing to delve deeper into technologies like Kafka.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, GCP, PHP, and CI/CD pipelines is advantageous.
